Installation Guide

U-Type Tracks 1001-3501

IMPORTANT Precursor :

1) Ensure the connection of track to MCB and ELCB or RCCB‍2) Do not put any metallic object into track
3) Spillage of water inside the track must be cleaned immediately. Water clogging inside the gully of track causes oxidation of power lines.
4) If there are children at home, we recommended installing power track 2.5ft above the floor and not as a skirting.
5) DO NOT USE Power track and wireless sockets to life support systems or any application where power supply amounts to priority. We do not recommend installation of power track in ICU or OT.
6) Use a switch breaker to power the track or any micro-controller radio based device to switch on/off track.

Holding the socket

A general recommedation, is to hold socket from the face. The socket, if handled through thumb and index from sides will ensure smooth insertion and removal.

Inserting a socket into the Power Track

Place the socket's connector at Power Track crevice, diagonally.

pressure only top of the connector (Black part)

Apply a downward force with your middle and index finger on the connector top. Do not put force or press anywhere else.

Insure that the top part of connector is well settled on the track. The socket is therefore "on"

Removing socket from the Power Track

Follow the steps to ensure smooth removal of socket.

Hold the socket face with thumb and index finger, in a manner as you pluck a fruit from tree.

Pluck it. Twist the socket

Pluck it. Twist the socket, leveraging the tip of the connector to pivot on track and keep twisting till it is out. At all time, do not pull the socket towards you or hold any other part of the socket to remove.
